The regular monthly series is extended this summer, with a recital taking place every Thursday during August at 1.15pm. 

Come and hear the celebrated Walker organ put through its paces by international guest recitalists Käthe Wright Kaufmann (from South Carolina, USA) and Mélodie Michel (from Paris, on her début tour of the UK) along with Stephen Disley (international performer and former Sub-Organist of Southwark Cathedral). 

In anticipation of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the programme on 13 August by Paul Carr (St Chad’s Cathedral) will include a performance of ‘Salve Regina’ composed in 2007 by Olivier Latry, organist of Notre-Dame de Paris. 

Recitals last 40 minutes and are admission free with a retiring collection towards the care and maintenance of the organ. A warm welcome to all!
