Parishes across the Archdiocese are being invited to take part in Something Greater.

Launching on Thursday 8 July 2021, Something Greater is the initiative of the Evangelisation sub group helping to develop the Diocesan Vision: Unfolding God’s Plan.

So far 46 parishes across the Archdiocese have signed up to take part, but there’s still time to involve your Parish.

Something Greater is a simple event to help parishes extend a hand of friendship to their community and welcome them to church.

Over the last year our faith has helped and supported us – now we have an opportunity to help others find Something Greater in their lives.

As our parishes and communities continue to open, Something Greater can help in reaching out to:

• Those who have lost the habit of coming to church and who may be anxious about doing so
• Those who may not want to re-establish a pattern of Catholic worship – who may have seen a gap widen between the spiritual dimension of their lives and any communal expression of that spiritual quest
• The ‘Covid curious’ who may have encountered the Catholic Church for the first time during the pandemic.

If your parish is not yet signed up to Something Greater, please speak to your Parish Priest and Register
