In a culture that often measures greatness by achievement, status, influence, and success, Jesus offers a radically different vision of what it means to be truly great. This retreat is an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and explore God's calling for us as men who desire to follow Christ and become men after His own heart.
 
We are delighted that the weekend will be led by David Wells, one of the Church's most respected Catholic speakers, authors, and retreat leaders. Known for his engaging, insightful, and often humorous approach, David has inspired audiences throughout the UK and beyond, helping people encounter the Gospel in a fresh and meaningful way. We are really excited to welcome him back for the weekend. His wisdom and experience will guide us as we explore what true greatness looks like in the light of Christ.

Bishop Timothy Menezes, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Birmingham, will also be in attendance.
 
Throughout the weekend we will:
•    Explore how Jesus provides us with an alternative understanding of success, influence, and leadership from those we commonly see and experience around us.
•    Consider how the Gospels offer a greater purpose and setting for the strengths, gifts, and talents God has entrusted to us.
•    Seek practical tools and spiritual disciplines that help us live in harmony with our deepest aspirations for a life lived fully and faithfully.
•    Meet remarkable and inspiring male role models from the history of the Church and discover what their lives can teach us about courage, faithfulness, humility, and service.
•    Share fellowship with other men who are seeking, often imperfectly and sometimes clumsily, to respond to God's love and purpose for their lives, ordinary, unique, remarkable, humble, and wonderfully imperfect men walking the journey of faith together.
 
This weekend will include inspiring talks, prayer, worship, reflection, fellowship, and time to listen for God's voice amidst the noise of everyday life.

Whether you are firmly established in your faith or simply seeking a deeper sense of purpose and direction, we invite you to come and join us as we explore what it means to become the men God created us to be.
