Pilgrimage Walk: Year of St Francis

Where: St Michael, Penn to St Francis of Assisi Shelfield, Walsall

During the year of St Francis we will be embarking on a Pilgrimage Walk. Journeying from St Michael's Church, Penn, home to the shrine of St Carlo Acutis, to St Francis of Assisi parish in Shelfield, Walsall.

The Pilgrimage Walk is approximately 12 miles long and will be an opportunity to journey together in prayer and celebrate the life of St Francis. 

The Jubilee Year marks the 800th anniversary of St Francis' death in 1226.
