  1. FAQs

GDPR Resources

The law has changed to place a number of additional data protection obligations on organisations and to increase rights for individuals and to allow them more control over their own personal data.

This change, called GDPR, applies to all organizations (including charities) who hold people’s personal information and so applies to each parish and the Diocese.

The documents that are listed below, which include FAQs, letters and forms, are designed to help parishes in the diocese comply with GDPR. In this section you will find documents that will assist you and your parish in how to handle and process personal and special category data.

Before printing a form off, please read the information carefully and amend the yellow highlighted sections with the appropriate information which relates to your parish.

If you have any queries about a document or are concerned that there may be a data breach in your parish, please call the Diocesan Solicitor Clare O’Brien on 0121 230 6231 or Steve Roche on 0121 230 6220.
