Sharing our good news on Radio Maria England

The good work of the Archdiocese of Birmingham comes under the spotlight on Radio Maria England this week.

Padre's Hour Episode 3 - An Update from the Archdiocese of Birmingham - will be broadcast at 11am today, Monday 1 June.

The programme will then be repeated on Tuesday (2) at 9pm; Friday (5) at 2am and Saturday (6) at 5pm.

Amongst the stories to feature is St John Bosco Catholic Primary School in West Bromwich, which has been supporting its school community by getting food packages to those who need them. 

The community of St Margaret Mary, Perry Common, which has pulled together in this time of crisis to ensure anyone in need of food, basic supplies, medicines or conversation gets what they need.

Evangelisation Chat on YouTube, a new initiative launched by the Archdiocese's evangelisation team, Paul Northam and Natalie Orefice, to help people with their ongoing formation during the pandemic.

A virtual Walk of Witness, an ecumenical online event held on Good Friday.

Radio Maria England interviewed members of the clergy, laity and a teacher to pull together the programme.
