Appeal from Tabor Living and Father Hudson's Care

Tabor Living, based at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Birmingham is urgently seeking overnight volunteers to support the project.

Tabor Living offers emergency accommodation and support for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.  We specialise in person centred, strength-based approach.  We work with individuals to build positive futures.

Overnight volunteers will help support the project by covering the night shift from 9pm-7am (Thursday and Sunday) and 10pm-8am (Friday).  In pairs, duties will include following all project procedures - always ensuring the health and safety of guests and yourself; assisting guests with their queries and needs; contact with ‘on-call’ staff to seek guidance on shift where necessary and providing excellent service and attention to detail to our guests.

The role will be working in pairs (either one staff/one volunteer or two volunteers) which will enable everyone to have a few hours sleep whilst the other is on ‘waking’ duty.

If you are looking for something that is rewarding and helps a homeless individual to turn their life around…then please contact:
