The St Vincent de Paul Conference of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Redditch, once again organised a Christmas party for over 200 homeless and vulnerable men and women in the centre of Birmingham.

With the help of the Headteacher and staff at Holy Trinity Catholic School the team of dedicated volunteers were able to prepare all of the food in their school kitchen before transporting it to the venue.

All 12 turkeys, vegetables and sauces were very kindly donated by Phil at The Nailers' Arms Pub in Bromsgrove.

A Christmas dinner, party games, entertainment and haircuts were enjoyed by the many guests who attended the party at Gas Street Church in Birmingham last month.

Each of the guests was given a chocolate selection box and a £25 gift voucher.

It was the sixth year that this SVP Conference had organised the party and this was only made possible with the fantastic support of Catholic schools, some Catholic Parishes and private companies who wanted to help those most in need at this special time of year.
