Good Shepherd Appeal 2022

Father Hudson’s Care are delighted to announce the launch of our Good Shepherd Appeal 2022 which will be taking place at the start of Lent on Wednesday 2 March.

This year, as the charity celebrates 120 years, our School and Parish Engagement Officer has been visiting local schools to talk about how the charity has grown. To support work in schools Father Hudson’s have also made available a range of downloadable educational materials and fundraising resources to download from the website

This year the charity hopes to return to holding a number of Good Shepherd Masses across the Archdiocese. Although attendance at these events will be limited to one school per church the Masses will also be shared online for all to enjoy. Further details about our Masses will be announced over the coming weeks.

Money raised by schools during Lent enables Father Hudson’s Care to continue our work supporting children, adults and families across the diocese. Special collection envelopes will be posted to all schools taking part in the campaign to remind children of the sacrificial nature of Lent and the virtue of almsgiving.
