Students at Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School in Acocks Green are celebrating their faith with a day of activities.

This morning, Friday 4 October, students joined Father Jonathan Veasey at Sacred Heart and Holy Souls parish Mass to pray for those who can’t attend.

Part of the school's Sixth Form core religious studies programme is the Aid to the Church in Need campaign.

The day of enrichment activities centres around CAFOD and family harvest.

Students are taking part in a quiz and baking 100 jacket potatoes for lunch.

Joining the students is sixth form tutor, and mathematics teacher, Deacon Tim Anthony.
