Con McHugh gets a sneak preview of the exhibition, opening in Birmingham on Friday 8 April.

The Sistine Chapel ceiling, was painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512.

Having already been to the US, Parts of Europe, London, Manchester it’s now Birmingham’s turn to host this wonderful exhibition - A life-size, up-close, never-before-seen perspective!

It’s in the Digbeth area of the city a 10-15 minute walk from Moor Street Station.  Thanks to digital technology this stunning exhibition showcases the awe and wonder of one of mankind’s greatest artistic feats while allowing visitors to experience it from never-before-seen perspectives without having to travel to Italy. With special expertise and care, the ceiling paintings from the Sistine Chapel have been reproduced in a unique way by using licensed high-definition photos.
