Adoremus 2026

Adoremus 2026

On Saturday 10 October the Adoremus National Eucharistic Congress will be happening at St George's Cathedral, Southwark and Westminster Cathedral in central London.

The Congress is the Bishops’ invitation to renew our devotion to the Eucharistic Lord.

The key events planned will be Holy Mass, Catechesis, a Eucharistic Procession and Adoration/Benediction, and it is intended that these will be streamed live so that people can participate across our Archdiocese.

Following, there are several Holy Hours and an all-night vigil on Saturday evening (10 October), to which people are warmly invited to participate.

Adoremus at Home

Over the weekend of the Congress, the Bishops of England & Wales are inviting all parishes to hold Adoration, Catechesis or Eucharistic Processions to help renew and deepen devotion to Our Eucharistic Lord.

The resources below are designed to help you do that. Of particular note is the suggestions sheet for what you might choose to do, called "Marking Adoremus In Parishes 2026", as well as the "Holy Hour for Adoremus" sheet, both of which can be downloaded for printing.

Finally, an art competition is being held to find an image for the Adoremus 2026 prayer card. The winner will meet Archbishop Richard Moth, of Westminster, at a special event to conclude the competition.

If you have any questions or suggestions about the Congress, please do get in touch with the diocesan Adoremus promoter, Paul Northam, at: [email protected]

Holy Hour for Adoremus

Prayer to the most Holy Sacrament by St Francis of Assisi

I believe that You, O Jesus, are in the most holy Sacrament.
I love You and desire You. Come into my heart.
I embrace You. O, never leave me.
May the burning and most sweet
power of your love, O Lord Jesus Christ, I beseech You,
absorb my mind that I may die through love of Your love,
who were graciously pleased to die through love of my love. Amen
