Reflection

The Encouragement of Youth - Reflection for the 11th Week of the Year, Sunday 14 June. “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” (Mt 9:11) by Mgr Daniel McHugh, the Co-ordinator for Ethnic Chaplaincies and Eastern Catholic Churches in the Archdiocese of Birmingham.

In this week's Reflection Mgr Daniel draws on Pope Leo’s wonderful Apostolic Journey to Spain: especially his encounter with young people; his address to Parliament; the Blessing of the Tower of Jesus Christ at Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona and his meeting with prisoners.

A 10-minute pause to be still and reflect on our Mission with the help of scripture, music/song, pictures, a homily and Adoration intended to lead into personal prayer and action.
