Friends of the Holy Land (FHL) first anniversary event was a great success yesterday, Thursday 14 November 2019.

Nearly 200 people joined Archbishop Suheil Dawani, the Episcopal Archbishop in Jerusalem, and John Wilson, the Archbishop of Southwark, at Temple Church in London to mark 10 years of Friends of the Holy Land activities in the UK and the Holy Land. Read Archbishop John's Homily

FHL have two further events this week:

Today, Friday 15 November, Friends of the Holy Land will be hosting their first major event in Scotland, at St Andrew’s Metropolitan Cathedral in Glasgow, where supporters will hear from Archbishop Suheil Dawani as well as Archbishop Phillip Tartaglia.

This promises to be a fantastic launch for FHL in Scotland and we look forward to meeting all of our supporters old and new, so we can stand firm together with our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land.

Friends of the Holy Land will have their final event at Coventry Cathedral tomorrow, Saturday 16 November, at 10.30am.

This ecumenical service will be led by Archbishop Suheil Dawani and Cardinal Vincent Nichols and will be followed by FHL's largest ever National Conference at the nearby Welcome Centre, where lunch will be provided before hearing from FHL patrons, supporters and beneficiaries about how we have stood firm for the last 10 years and our plans for the years to come.

We look forward to welcoming supporters old and new to these events and hope you will join us in standing firm with our brothers and sisters in the Holy land.
