The Dedication of Coventry Christmas Crib took place on Sunday 28th November, the first Sunday of Advent.

This years Blessing was once again open to the public. With freezing temperatures and heavy snow during the ceremony it was well attended with many of the Coventry schools represented. For those that could not attend it was livestreamed.

The crib is located in Broadgate next to Lady Godiva statue and over looked by the two Cathedrals and the Lady Godiva statue.

Canon Tom Farrell, Dean of Coventry, said: “The Catholic community are proud to sponsor this crib, which we hope will remind all those visiting the shops this Christmas of the true meaning of Christmas and the birth of Christ. Despite the weather we were pleased that so many were still able to join us.”
