Although many communities joined this year's Mass online, there was still a spirit of celebration as our religious communities renewed their commitment at the Mass for Religious and Consecrated Life.

In his homily the Archbishop reflected on the richness that religious life brings to the diocese. He also mentioned that rich contribution religious have to make to the synodal pathway as we journey together.

He concluded by paying tribute to Sr Anna O'Connor who after seventeen years as part of the team of Vicars for Religious has moved onto pastures.

He was also pleased to announce that Sr Una Coogan had been appointed a Vicar for Religious for which we are grateful.
