The Coventry Christmas Crib Dedication and Carol Service took place on Sunday 1st December 2019, the first Sunday of Advent.

This year the crib has a new location in Broadgate next to Lady Godiva statue and over looked by the two Cathedrals

Priests and Deacons from the Coventry Deanery led the prayers, whilst Children from Coventry Catholic schools led the singing of Christmas Carols. The Knights of St Columba distributed copies of the service so everybody could join in with the prayers and carols.

Canon Tom Farrell, Dean of Coventry, said: “The Catholic community are proud to sponsor this crib, which we hope will remind all those visiting the shops this Christmas of the true meaning of Christmas and the birth of Christ. This year we are also pleased with the new location at the centre of the town”
