On Saturday 20 May 2023, Archbishop Bernard Longley consecrated St Anne's Church, Streetly.

It was a very special day in the life of St Anne's and the church was packed for this wonderful occasion.

When a Church is consecrated, we are asking God to set this building aside in a very special way and in a real sense to make it a holy place.

As a parish we were privileged to be given relics of St John Henry Newman and Blessed Dominic Barberi which were sealed into our new altar.

It was a most moving and spiritually uplifting occasion.

It marks a new chapter in the life of St Anne's, Streetly as the parish continues to grow and move forward in Jesus.
