Reflection by Monsignor Daniel McHugh, the Co-ordinator for Ethnic Chaplaincies in the Archdiocese of Birmingham.

The Eleventh Week of the Year and Day for Life "You received without charge, give without charge”.

Mgr Daniel discusses one of the stories that has impacted many this past week - the one headed 'The Backpack Hero' in the media. It is about the young Catholic man who tackled the knifeman in Annecy. He used his backpack to stop the man who was attacking young children in a park in the French Alps.

This weekend also marks Day for Life and Father's Day.

A 10-minute pause for Sunday to be still and reflect on our Mission with the help of scripture, music/song, pictures, a homily and Adoration intended to lead into personal prayer and action.
