Reflection by Monsignor Daniel McHugh, the Co-ordinator for Ethnic Chaplaincies in the Archdiocese of Birmingham.

Fourteenth Week of the Year and Sea Sunday, “I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls” (Mt 11).

This week's reflection includes references to Sea Sunday and Bishop Ullathorne, the first Bishop of Birmingham, together with the Pope’s intention for July.

A 10-minute pause for Sunday to be still and reflect on our Mission with the help of scripture, music/song, pictures, a homily and Adoration intended to lead into personal prayer and action.
