Latest News Thanksgiving Mass for Marriage – you’re invited to join online This year’s Thanksgiving Mass for Marriage will take place on Sunday 1 November live streamed from St Chad’s Cathedral. Although the service cannot accommodate large numbers due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic couples are encouraged to join virtually. The 12noon Mass will be celebrated for all married couples - especially those celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2020. As part of the online celebration Lianne Pap, Diocesan Marriage and Family Life Co-ordinator, is inviting milestone couples to email a wedding photo, and a recent photo, to her so she can create a slideshow. This will be promoted on the Archdiocese and St Chad’s Cathedral websites and social media platforms. During the Mass there will be the Renewal of Commitment for couples to say at home. This will be available beforehand in a special booklet. Any couples celebrating a milestone anniversary (from one year or every 5th year up to 60, and every year over 60 years) is asked to email Lianne so they can be included in the booklet.
