Archbishop Bernard Longley is delighted to announce that a new Trustee has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Birmingham Diocesan Trust (Archdiocese of Birmingham). Peter Vince has joined the Board of Trustees from 24 April.

The Birmingham Diocesan Trust currently has 12 trustees consisting of clergy, religious and lay trustees.

Peter Vince is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who has worked in private practice for over 40 years.

He has  a significant track record in delivering complex projects and managing and developing both the individuals in the teams and the businesses that he has led during his career.

In 2011 he formed EMMAUS Consulting, named after the passage in the bible The Road to Emmaus, a firm providing project and cost management consultancy to clients in the building sector.

Prior to EMMAUS he was CEO of UK operation of a 20,000 person global engineering and management company,  a member of the Senior Management Committee and  a board member of the global buildings business line.

In addition to his role at EMMAUS he is Chair of the board of Lumen Christi Catholic Multi Academy Company comprising seven schools across the south Birmingham area and a non-executive director of a London based architectural practice.
