Marriage Care are the largest faith-based relationship support charity in the UK providing marriage preparation, support, and low-cost relationship counselling to those in need. Opportunities for new Trustees of CaTEW (The Catholic Trust for England and Wales) Expand The Catholic Trust for England and Wales (CaTEW) was established by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales (CBCEW) as a Company Limited by Guarantee and as a Registered Charity with the Charity Commission. This body holds in trust the assets and financial income of the Bishops’ Conference; maintains proper fiscal oversight; provides employee governance; and, secures any additional funding and other resources which are required by the Secretariat (and the Secretariat’s dependent agencies and offices) to carry out those activities and programmes of work which the Bishops wish to undertake collegially. Trustees of CaTEW are responsible for securing, maintaining and making available the resources which enable the programme of work directed by the CBCEW to be implemented by the Secretariat and its agencies and offices with sound governance in compliance with Canon and Civil Law. CaTEW provides, through the Conference Secretariat, a centre of knowledge and capability for assisting the Bishops and Dioceses in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supporting the communities of faith in England and Wales. Proclamation of the love of Jesus Christ motivates all the work of the Secretariat and permeates every aspect of that work in supporting the mission of the Bishops.
