Notice of Death - Fr Oliver Kemp

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Father Oliver Kemp who died on Tuesday 23 February 2021, aged 82 years in hospital.

Fr Ollie was ordained on 19 March 1966 and served at All Souls, Coventry from 1966 to 1968; Handsworth from 1969 to 1970; Holy Family, Coventry from 1970 to 1977; Headington from 1977 to 1980; St John the Evangelist, Chesterton from 1980 to 1985; St Joseph, Darlaston from 1985 to 1986; St Bernadette, Fegg Hayes from 1987 to 1999; Mother of God and Guardian Angels, Castle Bromwich from 1999 until his retirement in 2004.

We pray for Fr Ollie’s family and friends; all those at Aston Hall where he has been living in retirement, and for all who mourn him.

Reception of the Body and Mass at Holy Trinity Church, London Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, on Tuesday 23 March 2021 at 5.30pm.

The Funeral Mass will be at Holy Trinity Church, Newcastle-under-Lyme, on Wednesday 24 March 2021 at 12 noon. Archbishop Bernard Longley presiding.

Burial at Oscott.

The Reception and Funeral Mass will be celebrated in accordance with the current lockdown guidelines. The number of people who can attend will be strictly limited.
