This Mission Week, students at Cardinal Newman are exploring the theme Journey to Sainthood.

Inspired by the school's Patron, Blessed John Henry Newman, students are learning all about the great man ahead of his Canonisation this Sunday (13 Oct).

Last night, Tuesday, members of local youth groups and students were invited to join 'The Cube' interactive experience followed by Mass, celebrated by Canon Tom Farrell.

Today, Wednesday, the school will be celebrating Newman's Feast Day with Masses at 11am.

The majority of the school will gather for Mass with Bishop William Kenney, then will also be celebrating a simultaneous Mass with Fr Pat, and the sixth form will be travelling to Newman University to celebrate Mass in their Chapel and learn more about Blessed John Henry Newman.
