Fr David Duggan RIP

Please pray for Fr David Duggan who sadly died on Monday 4 May, aged 93. We pray for all who mourn.

Born in 1926, Fr David was ordained on 19 May 1951.

Until his retirement in 2002, he served at: Longton 1951-54; Chasetown 1954-55; Diocesan Youth Council 1955-58; Headington, Oxford 1958-64; St Anne’s, Stafford 1964-70; Cannock 1970-81; Wombourne 1981-2002.

Most recently he was resident at St Joseph’s Home, Harborne, and we express our thanks for the prayers and care of the Little Sisters of the Poor and all the staff.

We commend Fr David to the Lord, in gratitude for his long, faithful and greatly appreciated service as a priest. May he rest in peace.

Funeral services in compliance with the present guidelines are still to be arranged.
