The Dowry Tour of Our Lady of Walsingham is now at St Chad’s Cathedral.

The Slipper Chapel statue of Our Lady of Walsingham, along with the Dowry Tour Exhibition, opened yesterday evening (Thursday).

Archbishop Bernard Longley led the Solemn Holy Mass, which signalled the start of a packed programme of events marking this very special occasion.

The tour is visiting every English Catholic Diocese and Cathedral between 2018 - 2020, preparing for the rededication of England as the Dowry of Mary.

At St Chad's the Shrine and Exhibition are now open through to 1.30pm tomorrow (Sat).
