The Archdiocese of Birmingham is aiming to feature a charity in need every Thursday.

St Chad's Sanctuary are delighted to say that we have remained open throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, with social distancing in place of course!

We have continued to provide food, clothing, English lessons and practical items to asylum seekers and refugees who are struggling even more than usual due to the lockdown.

We are giving out more food than ever in our 10-year history and, for the first time, are giving lessons online and delivering food to people who are isolating.

This is only possible due to the generosity of those who donate food and money to us and we are so grateful to them.

We welcome donations of tinned and dried food, especially vegetables and beans such as kidney beans and chickpeas.

If you would rather, we also accept financial donations which can be made by cheque or bank transfer.

Above all, we ask for your prayers for our staff, volunteers and service users at this difficult time.
