The faithful recently gathered at Our Lady of the Angels and St Peter in Chains in Hartshill for a very special service.

An altar blessing and dedication took place on Monday 29 April, led by Bishop David McGough.

The Mass was celebrated by  Bishop David McGough and concelebrated by the current Parish Priest, Fr. George Ettuparayil, Parish Deacon, Tony Bradshaw and the two previous Parish Priests, Fr. Michael Miners of St. Edmund Campion, Watlington and  Fr Thé Quang Nguyen of St. John the Baptist, Alton.

The new altar was consecrated with a relic of St Catherine of Siena on her Feast Day.
