A series of four reflections will take us on a guided tour through the last days of Jesus’s life, as recorded in ‘The Gospel According to Mark’.

Along the way, we will explore the particular flavour Mark gives to the familiar scenes. What does he emphasise? What does he play down?

This year, Mark’s Passion will be proclaimed on Palm Sunday. We will offer some points that might be developed into a homily for that day.
In addition, we aim to bring many treasures to light that might challenge, console and encourage; insights that can be taken to prayer and even spiritual direction.

Ultimately, the hope is that when the Passion is read on Palm Sunday this year, we will appreciate its richness, and be moved and inspired by its power, like never before. £40 including lunch and refreshments.

This day is also open to permanent deacons.
