Families are invited to take a step back in time at Harvington Hall and discover the largest surviving collection of priests’ hiding places in the country.
The beautiful Harvington Hall, found in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, is hosting half-term family friendly tours on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 October.
The priest hides, which remain largely unaltered from their original state, offer a valuable insight into the survival of Catholic families and clergymen during the Reformation.
Together with rare Elizabethan wall paintings, a Georgian Chapel, Malt House visitor centre and gardens, Harvington Hall is full of interest and intrigue.
School and parish visits to this unique venue, which is open between March and October, with special events in November and December, are encouraged.
