Day of Pilgrimage

To mark the Year of Faith, St Dominic’s in Stone is having a day of pilgrimage on Saturday 31st August. This is to celebrate the association of Blessed Dominic Barberi with Stone. August 31st is the date on which Blessed Dominic’s Requiem Mass was celebrated in St Dominic’s Church and his subsequent interment at Aston Hall. The day will begin with a talk at 10.30am by Fr John Sherrington CP. There will be Mass at 12 mid day; main celebrant Bishop William, followed by a procession of the Blessed Sacrament to Aston Hall where there will be Benediction.
